Skimming pool surface (removing leaves, insects, and debris with a net)

Brushing walls and tiles (scrubbing pool walls, steps, ladders, and tiles to prevent algae and calcium build-up)

Vacuuming (vacuuming bottom of pool)

Emptying baskets (cleaning out skimmer and pump baskets to ensure proper water flow)
Standard pools:

Water chemistry and balance (testing water, checking ph, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and stabilizer levels)

Adjusting chemicals, adding chlorine, acid, algaecide, or other chemicals to balance water

Shocking the pool (super chlorinating to kill bacteria and algae)
Saltwater pools:

Inspect the salt chlorine generator, check for scaling or wear, clean the salt cell, acid wash or rinse to remove calcium build-up, ensure proper operation and settings, ensure all equipment is working efficiently, clean sand or DE filters to maintain performance
